“Part mushroom-fueled fantasy part homemade lawn art-- Fountain of Youth bits and pieces its way into a bizarre Bosch colored landscape. Glowing plants, vessels, flowers and rocks radiate.”

Adam Redd was the artist-in-residence at Arch Contemporary Ceramics from September 2016 through May 2017. Redd received his MFA in ceramics from Texas Tech University in 2013 and holds a BA in studio ceramics from the University of California in Chico. He works in all media but primarily in ceramics and has been actively showing his work in numerous exhibitions across the country for the past decade. His work commonly deals with alternative realities, science fiction, drug trips and alien landscapes. Redd is a California native but has been residing in the greater northeast following a studio practice and adjunct teaching position for several years.
